Amsterdam - Airbnb
Location: Joordan neighborhood, Amsterdam, Netherlands

While traveling to Amsterdam during our honeymoon, Chris and I found the most darling Airbnb, a loft apartment in the Joordan District. I found myself daydreaming often of living in this loft or taking interior design notes on the space. Our host, Florence, has a great sense of style and her loft apartment has great architectural bones to work with.
Florence was a wonderful host - she was there to welcome us in and show us around the place. She had a booklet full of contact information and local resources, as well as great recommendations for shopping, cafes, art museums, etc. Her apartment was fully furnished and had everything we could possibly need to get by.
As I mentioned earlier, the loft was very well designed. It had really nice bookshelves, beautiful modern photography, art pieces displayed, and a few green plants were a nice touch too. You can tell our host is an interior designer. Her place had a really great balance of design and functionality. The art and books were also a great mix of historic pieces with clean, modern items.
The apartment consisted of two stories, including a main living space (with a kitchen and bathroom) and an upstairs loft bedroom. The a-frame loft bedroom was really fun - I loved the all white linens and that pop of yellow. There was definitely a coziness to the space.
Our host, the location, and the space made this a 5-star visit for us. We loved how helpful Florence was, the neighborhood was cute AF and in the perfect location, and the apartment was clean and so well decorated. For the price, I would highly recommend staying here when visiting Amsterdam! Please contact me for more information regarding this gorgeous loft.
